Ion Cleanse
How the IonCleanse® Works
AC electricity is converted to low power DC electricity which flows through a patented electrode system that sits in the footbath. The electricity and the metal combine to split the water molecule into H+ and OH- ions. These ions travel through the body, neutralize oppositely charged particles and through powerful osmotic pressure pull those neutralized particles out of the body through whatever skin surface is in contact with the water.
An ion is a charged atom that has gained or lost an electron which creates a magnetic field capable of attaching to and neutralizing oppositely charged particles. These neutralized particles are extracted from the body through the process called osmosis. Osmosis is a scientific term that is used to describe the movement of particles through a membrane from an area of lower concentration to an area of higher concentration. In this case, the higher concentration refers to the ion field that is set up by placing the array into the water while running the unit.
The array is placed into the water alongside the hands, feet, or body while the power supply delivers a low level direct current to the array. This causes the metals within the array in combination with water and salt to generate positively and negatively charged ions by separating oxygen and hydrogen in the water.
Ions generated by the IonCleanse® travel through the body attaching themselves to a multitude of toxic substances, thereby neutralizing their positive or negative charge. It may be possible to reduce pain and other symptoms caused by a lifetime of toxic buildup in the body (assuming the symptoms are caused by toxic buildup). The long-term effectiveness of the IonCleanse® detoxification process depends on other life-enhancing changes a person is willing to make.
Regional Toxicity
Water, metal and salt will combine to produce a light water color change, as well as objects in the water even without feet being submerged. The IonCleanse® neutralizes toxins in the water the same way it neutralizes toxins in the body. The predominant color of the de-ionized water is determined by the chemicals used by local water authorities in combination with the the predominant water color is orange; in Phoenix, Arizona it is orange-brown; in parts of Texas it is brown; yellow-green in Boise, Idaho.
Chinese acupuncturists understand the concept of regional toxicity as it relates to the ailments that predominate in a given area. Some areas of the country have higher joint complaints, while others report a higher frequency of kidney-bladder problems. Could it be that the toxins peculiar to an area gravitate toward a specific part of the body causing it to break down?
As a general rule, regional toxins contribute 20-40% of the residues found in the water after a foot bath. The black flecks can be created by heavy metals in the bath water as well as deterioration of the metal in the array. Experience and the observations discussed above will help you determine what is coming from the patient and what is coming from the array.
Color of Toxins
Yellow-green — the kidney, bladder, urinary tract, female/ prostate area
Orange — the joints
Brown — the liver, tobacco, cellular debris
Black — the liver
White foam — the lymphatic system
White cheese-like particles — most likely yeast
Black flecks — heavy metals
Red flecks — blood clot material
Toxins at all Time High
Today our toxic exposure is at an all time high and toxins are one of the primary causes of degenerative diseases in people today like Fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Kidney Problems, Autism and Muscular Dystrophy.
Toxins come from: Our foods are sprayed with pesticides, our water has chlorine and fluoride the air we breathe is polluted, our cleaning supplies, soaps, shampoos and detergents are loaded with chemicals and many have sodium laurel sulfate and is know to cause cancer. Our mercury fillings, lead, arsenic, aluminum, vaccinations that are given to us by the doctors and then he have our household adhesives, paints and other home products like plastic used in the microwave, tobacco, drugs and more all contribute to more toxins in our bodies that lead to disease, allergies, mental incapacitation with side effects like swelling, rashes, insomnia, headaches, fatigue and pain.
*The EPA reports that in 2002 24,379 US facilities released 4.7 billion pounds of toxins into the atmosphere. 72 million pounds were known carcinogens. Depending on your size you inhale 3,000 to 8,000 gallons of air each day.
Toxins Results in an Acidic Body
Beginning symptoms will result in fatigue, headaches, bloating, acne, constipation, food allergies, panic attacks, slow circulation and joint pain.
Intermediate symptoms will result in asthma, bronchitis, insomnia, psoriasis, fungus, depression, cold sores. Advanced symptoms will result in cancer, fibromyalgia, weight gain, multiple sclerosis, arthritis, diabetes, lupus, leukemia, heart disease and migraines.
According to Dr. Robert O. Young's book, "Sick and Tired", the New Biology , most simply stated, is that the over-acidification of the body is the single underlying cause of all disease. Dr. Young has found that when the body is in healthy alkaline balance, germs are unable to get a foothold.
Low PH Balance leads to health problems:
7.0 - 7.4 ph = optimum health and energy
6.8 ph = beginning of metabolic acidosis
6.4 ph = impaired digestion, hard to lose weight
6.0 ph = 10 times less oxygen to the cells
5.5 ph = extreme acidosis, cancer and degenerative disease
5.0 ph = 100 times less oxygen to the cells and life threatening
(You can test and monitor your ph balance with litmus paper)
Cancer, candida, yeast, mold, fungus, viruses, bacteria and parasites cannot survive in a ph of 7.0 or above.
